(1) Prayer must be offered in Christ’s name (John 16:23-24)

(2) Prayer must be for God’s glory (James 4:2)

(3) Prayer must not be for sinful purposes (Ps 66:18)

(4) Prayer must be from a forgiven soul (Mark 11:25)

(5) Prayer must be asked in faith (Matt 21:22)

(6) Prayer must be given in agreement with God’s Word (John 15:7)

(7) Prayer must issue in doing God’s will (1 John 3:22, 1 John 5:14)
