He was not writing to Peter and John and Andrew. He was writing to the members of the churches. The church has the potential to help by prayer…
II Corinthians 1::10-1110 who delivered us from so great a death, and [d]does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, 11 you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on [e]our behalf for the gift granted to us through many. Praying people are partners.
1.Colossians 4:2.3 OPEN DOORS An open door to serve. An opportunity. Openness to the gospel. Being a foreigner my get their attention but it is not enough. Training and ability is not enough. Pray that the missionaries and leaders will recognize the open door and be given favor.
2.Ephesians 6:19 BOLDNESS embarrassment. Lack of confidence. Mistakes, must not depend on what is comfortable. Sometimes a quiet shy person can become a bold witness and effective missionary. Not a natural boldness, willingness to take risks, but a Spirit directed boldness. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and boldness.
And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and spoke the word of God with boldness . Acts 4:31
3. 2 Thessalonians 3:1 PROSPERITY FREE COURSE Obstacles must be removed. Spiritual warfare Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.James 4:7 Yield to God, submit, surrender, lean on Him, accept His authority and then resist the Devil in Jesus’ name.
4.2Thessalonians 3:2 DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL MEN Was Paul delivered?? Yes, but he did not take that for granted. He asked people to pray for this. Their prayers were answered. Paul continued in the work and we are blessed today with the Scriptures that he wrote.
Romans 15:3130 I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. 31 Pray that I may be kept safe from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people there, .

Travel. Health and safety. Provision for tickets, Visas, weather. Boats, heliocopters, mules, trains, hiking, border crossings, bus traveling backwards, no brakes, my first tour…the fog, the delayed flight.
6. REFRESHMENT SAFETY AND FAVORABLE RECEPTION.
Encouragement. Giving water and food to others is a blessing also to us. We also partake of the blessing. The smell of the rose is in the hand of the one who gives it. Missionaries can be refreshed by retreats, a letter, a visit, a gift, or by a spiritual touch from the Holy Spirit.
