Direct Debit Agreement Australia

If you are a single taxpayer or entrepreneur, the easiest way to pay your tax debts is a levy requirement on ATO online services. You can pay your tax debts in full or in instalments by direct debit. This includes: you can direct all requests regarding the direct debit function to customer service. You may request to postpone or change your direct debit function, including any stops or cancellations, by notifying us in writing at least five working days before the next scheduled charge. You may terminate your direct debit function at any time by written notification. It takes five working days for us to respond to such a request. We confirm that the charge has been stopped. You can set up a direct debit to withdraw money from your bank account or set up a recurring payment from your credit card. If you use a registered control or BAS agent, they can set up the direct debit on your behalf via online services for agents. 7.1.
